It seems that young Northants star Ben Duckett has found himself in hot water again following more alchohol related shenanigans
It has been confirmed that the young left hander is to remain with the England Lions tour of Australia, but has been told he will play no further part in any remaining matches and has received a final written warning over his conduct and a fine believed to be £1500
His latest offence being dousing England vice-captain James Anderson in drink in a late night prank, which cost him his place in the England line up for a two day practice match last weekend
The England and Wales Cricket Board confirmed Duckett's punishment in a brief statement on Sunday. It read:
"Following a disciplinary hearing with England Lions player Ben Duckett, ECB can confirm the following measures have been placed on the player.
* Fined the maximum allowable amount for an England Lions player.
* Suspended from playing for the rest of the current Lions Australian training camp.
* Issued with a final written warning in respect of his conduct as an England player.
"Duckett will remain with the England Lions party in Australia and will return to England at the end of the camp on December 17."
The Northamptonshire left handed batsman had previously been in trouble for drink related issues in July 2015 when he was banned from driving for 12 months for being over the limit when breathalysed after a crash.
